Jerry Heil & Kalush - Stiny, Music Video

During a music video shoot, my team remotely collaborated with a Ukrainian group (given that the Kalush segment was filmed in Poland). This led us to put in extra effort to meet requirements for seamless frame matching in post-production. We chose the location that symbolically align with the song’s theme. The backdrop, integral to the landscape concept, proved demanding. Despite battling harsh New England winds throughout the shoot and occasionally yielding to nature, giving up never crossed our minds. We ensured this struggle stayed backstage, emerging victorious.

Concept: Conveying the same tightness of the walls that are sung about in the track and at the same time presenting  an existing world beyond those walls, therefore the black and white canvas were the main feature of a video. The background visually separates the artists from the location and puts the symbolic limitations as walls do.
